Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing to invest in my digital products, courses, and office hours.

Because my business operates under a “build simply” philosophy, I want to make sure our exchange is clear, fair, and free of unnecessary friction. Below is my policy regarding refunds, returns, and cancellations for all digital purchases and consulting services.

1. Digital Products (PDF Guides, Spreadsheets, Copy Templates)

Due to the digital nature of downloadable products (such as the Solopreneur Website Planner, the Ultimate Website Copy Swipe Templates, or the 2026 Website Refresh Checklist), all sales of digital files are final.

  • No Refunds: Once you purchase, download, or access the file link, I cannot offer a refund, return, or exchange. Unlike physical items, digital assets cannot be returned or restored to a merchant, and they remain in your possession indefinitely.
  • Issues or Errors: If you experience any technical difficulties opening, downloading, or using the files, or if you find a mistake in a spreadsheet or checklist, please contact me immediately at hey@elaineag.com. I will gladly assist you, send you a fresh copy, or resolve any file issues as quickly as possible.

2. Self-Paced Video Courses

For online courses (such as Simple Website, Real Results):

  • No Refund Policy: Once access to the course portal is granted, no refunds will be issued.
  • Prior to Access: If you purchased a course in error and have not logged in, accessed, or watched any lessons, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing me.

3. 1:1 Office Hours (Consulting Sessions)

I value your time and prepare extensively for our scheduled sessions. If you book a 1:1 office hour, the following policies apply:

  • Rescheduling: You can reschedule your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before our scheduled session time using the link in your confirmation email.
  • Cancellations & Refunds:
    • If you cancel your session more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, you are eligible for a full refund (minus any transaction fees processed by the payment provider).
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the session, or if you fail to attend the session (no-show), no refund will be issued, and you will not be able to reschedule that specific booking without booking a new slot.
  • Emergency Situations: I understand that emergencies happen. If you have an unexpected emergency, please email me at hey@elaineag.com as soon as possible so we can discuss options for rescheduling.
